We've been in Fullerton for 24 Years! We care deeply about what we do and it shows in the quality of our classes, and in the success of our students. Our program is unique, structured and really teaches kids to recognize, celebrate and maximize their creative gifts.

Cherene Raphael

Director of Core Classes and Owner, BA, English, MA, Drawing & Painting, K-12 Teacher Credential (CA lifetime) Art Education - Cherene has spent over 20 years nurturing and supporting children who find their voice in ART!! She is devoted to giving these kids the applause and feelings of self worth that God bestowed. It's NO secrect that THE ART HOUSE is a haven for children who have BEAUTIFUL artistic gifts that have been overlooked. Cherene paints large oils on canvas that have won numerous juried art shows, featured on Channel 28 in Los Angeles, in the LA Times and O.C. Register and was sold through Orlando Gallery in west L.A. She authored four art books, including Raising Artistic Children, a standard text for university graduate teacher programs.

Darci Raphael

Darci grew up with The Art House, working along side Cherene as a teacher's aide since 6th grade. She has a BA in FineArt/English from the Claremont Colleges and spent 8 years as a graphic designer in New York working for Battery Park City, Harper Collins Children's Book Division and BrainPOP. In addition to Claremont, she has studied at the Art Center College of Design. She runs The Art House, Dana Point.

Stephanie Murphy

Stephanie has been a student at The Art House since the first grade. She began her teaching career in Junior High, as one of Cherene's classroom aides. In high school she became a teacher in training, and is now a master teacher. She is a BA candidate at Cal State Fullerton for fine art and gallery studies and an extremely well loved Art House teacher!

Allison Kelley

Allison has been an Art House student since 4th grade! She became a teacher in training for us in high school, earned her AA in Art and her BA in Art History/Studio Art from CSU Long Beach.
